Vertical R type steam turbines have been developed as drivers of cargo pumps and ballast pumps aboard oil tankers.

On the basis of our many years' experience and service records consideration is given to the following points:
To minimize the decrease of efficiency in case the pump is used under partial load.

To make no trouble in case the load decreases suddenly due to invading gas and air into the @ pump at the final stage of unloading service.

The vertical R type steam turbines are of the Curtis single-stage or Rateau 3-stage with sinlge reduction
gear and have the following 6 models according to maximum output and steam consumption
