PG and DOF ASA sign Ballastwater Frame-agreement

PG and DOF ASA with subsidiaries have signed a Frame Agreement with PG for Hyde GUARDIAN Ballast Water Treatment Systems, to equip their fast growing fleet of OSV's in acc with the forthcoming IMO Resolutions. The DOF fleet consist of some 70 OSV's of various nature, and the first four PG-Hyde GUARDIAN systems have already been booked, and are under delivery.
It has become commonly accepted in the market that the IMO resolutions will become ratified during 2012, hense proactive positioning for first choice equipment is on most major owners agenda. Currently 31 Flagstates have ratified (30 required), representing 26.44% of the world tonnage (35% required).
PG is well positioned to participate in this coming market, having already secured more than 100 contracts for such units globally.
