Following the very successful IMRV installation aboard M/V Edda Fauna delivered by PG in 2009, PG could book another major order for IMR / Scale Squeeze Operations

Ulstein has been awarded the contract for new construction of a state-of-the-art Intervention, Maintenance, Repair Vessel for Subsea7 / Eidesvik, to be built under their H/N 295. The ship is of the SX148 IMRV design from ULSTEIN, which can carry out highly advanced subsea work like inspection, maintenance and repair of oil installations on the sea bottom.

Furthermore, the vessel can be used for clearing oil and gas wells and for well stimulation, using the 3MW PG pump installation. PG's scope for this advanced vessel comprises computers for remote operations, LCC with all functions, alarms and communication features, which through a 12 x PV 180 pumps large, 3MW capacity Hydraulic PowerPack, and a massive delivery of various high alloy pumps and agitators to mix, boost and inject chemicals and solvents into the subsea installations on a world wide basis, for enhanced production of oil & gas.
