Furthermore, the vessel can be used for clearing oil and gas wells and for well stimulation, using the 3MW PG pump installation. PG's scope for this advanced vessel comprises computers for remote operations, LCC with all functions, alarms and communication features, which through a 12 x 270ccm pumps large, 3MW capacity Hydraulic PowerPack, and a massive delivery of various high alloy pumps and agitators to mix, boost and inject chemicals and solvents into the subsea installations on a world wide basis, for enhanced production of oil & gas.

MV Skandi Gamma - a STX 06 LNG MACS PSV - ready for work
PG has completed commissioning of the most comprehensive PG-MACS installation till date, on board STXs H/N 738 - to be named MV Skandi Gamma. Performance testing have exceeded tough specifications set by Statoil and DOF ASA! MV Skandi Gamma will join the highly succesful MV Far Serenade - an UT 754 MACS PSV - which have now operated with firm results with its PG-MACS installation.
MV Skandi Gamma feature a 8-tank full flex PG-MACS system, in addition to 6-tank PG-MACS Lite installation for huge capacities both for Drill Cuttings, Dry- and Wet- bulk, in the most flexible solution seen till date in the global OSV market. PGs cargo control system alone comprise close to 1.500 I/Os - enough for an ordinary PSV as for controlling the entire vessels operations.

Kraljevica SY / Croatia order another cargo package from PG
Kraljevica is on their way to construct another (sixth) High Temperature Asphalt Carrier for an International Shipowner. Their H/N 548 will be extensively equipped with a sophisticated Cargo Handling System by PG, and our delivery will take place Q3/2011. Kraljevica have built five sister-vessels in various configurations ahead of H/N 548, which have established themselves with excellent reputation in the market place.

Aas Mek has secured another 1+1 Live Fish Well Boat, this time an Aas 1520 ST for Bømlo Brønnbåtservice running under their H/N 188 (optinally a second vessel as H/N 189).PG was selected to deliver all engine room and utility pumps. This scope also include our highly successful P 500 propeller pumps, each of 2.000m3/h capacity, especially developed for the application to circulate refrigerated sea water into the fish well during transportation of salmon from the farm to the processing plant.

PG-MAPS: our most novel pump development test successfully
After an intensive development period, our Patent Pending, latest development named " PG-MAPS " has tested most successfully at our facility in Hvalstad. The unit meet our expectations for low noice, low pulsation and high performance - and lift our expectations to high levels for this ultra-compact, high efficiency machine. PG expect to see a very wide range of applications for this very versatile development, but initial installations are expected to emerge from the offshore well stimulation market, chemical injection and not least mud / cutting handling subsea. The Pilot Unit is now due for conversion, and qualification for subsea use - which is expected to be completed by Q2/2011

Another round of awards of contracts from Bourbon / Zhejiang
The ambitious new construction plans of Bourbon again makes headlines with PG, as another contract for as much as 10 Liquid Cargo Handling Systems were secured for their 10-vessels series of SPP 17 PSV. Also these are newly developed inhouse design vessels from their SinoPacific Design Company. With these new awards, PG is fast approaching 200 systems secured for the various newbuilding projects of Bourbon world wide the last few years, making Bourbon our single largest marine customer with distance!

After initiating another large wave of newbuildings at their "home shipyard" SinoPacific - Zhejiang SY in China, Bourbon is following suit with their previous project, and chose PG as partner to deliver liquid cargo solutions for another 16 vessels. This series is an inhouse design Anchor Handling Tus Supply Vessel, denominated SPA 80 AHTS - for which PG secured the initial 4 shipsets earlier this year.

Having secured further work for concrete renovation, BM place an order with PG for a Woma MK3, mobile Ultra High Pressure cleaning unit. 2500 Bar water-pressure will be applied to remove, and renew concrete surfaces in the most efficient way

The North Sea largest ever Chemical Injection Module handover
After significant additional work performed to automate and remote-control the module over the last 12 months, PG could complete the single largest offshore project ever - by hand-over to Statoil shortly before platform sail-out. With 28 remotely controlled (by our newly developed PG-Techni super-compact actuators) Prominent ORLITA pumps, driven by ATEX 100 ex-proof e-motors, operating from individual tanks through significant instrumentation - this 162 tons module is an achievment of significance to complete.

A set of three units, vertical centrifugal pumps with ATEX 100 EX-proof drives encapsulated for noice reduction was delivered after string-testing at our site at Hvalstad.

Large pump package for Alstom to European CO2 Technology Center
PG has secured a contract for a complete pump delivery to Alstom Norway AS, for the Chilled Ammonia CO2 capture Plant in the European CO2 Technology Centre Mongstad (TCM)
Scope of supply comprises engineering, fabrication and delivery of 20 centrifugal-, and screwpump skids, including seal systems and noice enclosures. Delivery Q3 / 2010

Alstom has an EPC contract with TCM DA on behalf of the TCM Partners Gassnova SF, Statoil and Shell. The demo-plant will be the first one of its kind to treat flue gas from a gas fired power station.
The TCM facility at Mongstad is one of the largest planned demo-facilities of its kind with an annual capacity to capture up to 100.000 metric tonnes of CO2, of which Alstom's chilled ammonia technology will have the capacity to capture 80.000 metric tonnes p.a., the equivalent of 40 MWh, or emmissions from some 33.000 cars annually.

Batamec SY / Singapore select PG pump package for Norshore
Norshore - a Norwegian pioneering company in its field - has developed a new patented "Mobile Drilling and Lifting Concept" (MDL), tailor-made for operation on Offshore Support Vessels (OSVs), which enables cost efficient Riserless Drilling, Coil Tubing, Well Intervention and Subsea Construction in both shallow and deep water.
PG was early selected partner for all cargo handling systems for this project, and the package has now been significantly extended with all pumping systems for engine room services, and utility functions. Delivery Q3/2010

Farstad to rebuild liquid mud cargo systems aboard MV Far Sound
Both deepwater-oriented drilling mud, and long storage time aboard, present extreme yeild stress values which challenge both circulation systems, and traditional agitators alike. To cope with these new challenges, PG has proven in several occations that the PG-Submix 80 - with its low speed, high torque, hydraulically driven agitators are up to match - and have seen a series of rebuilds over the last few months. Latest project - consisting of five submerged PG-Submix 80, a HPU and controlsystem - is for the anchor handling tug supply vessel MV Far Sound, being converted in Singapore.

Engineered, Designed and Project-managed by PG, and built at PG Construction, this pump will deliver 1000m3/h @ 9 Bar when installed at the field. With a lead time of less than 3 months, PG was able to perform all required work and test and fullfil the high demands set.

Westcon SY return to PG for further Woma ultra high pressure units
Removal of growth, rust and paint is performed most efficiently by use of ultra high pressure waterblasting - a market in which PG is the leading supplier through its many years of cooperation with WOMA. This time Westcon has selected a containerized WOMA 400z operating at 850 Bar driven by a 290kw Volvo TAD 1252 dieselengine.

TransAtlantic Shipping AB select PG for Ballast Water Treatment
Another two shipsets Hyde Guardian Ballast Water Treatment Systems were secured for the newbuilds VS 4622 AHTS's for TransAtlantic Shipping AB, under construction at Ast. Zamakona in Spain.
The Hyde Guardian BWTS's are proving to be highly competitive, and through its flexible and cost efficient installation and operations is regarded desireable for PG's type of tonnage. Delivery for H/N 669 is Q1/2010, whereas H/N 670 will be delivered Q3/2010

PG Ballast Water Treatment Conference at Runde Miljøsenter
Related to the expected ratifications of the new IMO Resolution for BWT, PG set up a conference addressing Shipowners / Operators, Naval Architects and Shipyards January 28th 2010 at the
Runde Environmental Research Centre (RMSAS) outside Aalesund. The conference was visited by close to 100 participants, and was rated with high notes by key customers. NRK ( National Radio and TV ) also had coverage (Børge Nakken / Farstad on NRK )

PG Compressor package for FMC Kongsberg Subsea AS
PG has secured a contract for a compact compressor package consisting of a high speed integrally geared single-stage Sundyne LMC341 centrifugal compressor, surge detection system and VSD drive. The unit is to be used as a high pressure air compressor. Delivery is set for June 2010.
Sundyne compressors are designed for heavy-duty service in gas processing applications and is designed to meet the requirements of our customers. API 614 & 617 compliant designed for 5-years uninterrupted service.
